Career coach hired for Rural Works employment program

Austin Clark has been hired by River Valley Resources Inc. to be the fulltime career coach for Rural Works in southeast Indiana.

Rural Works, a poverty-to-self-sufficiency employment program, receives funding from United Way of Greater Cincinnati Southeast Indiana and the Dearborn Community Foundation.

River Valley Resources established Rural Works, which is based on the nationally recognized Cincinnati Works program. Rural Works will operate career-skills workshops. Clark will recruit program participants, tap into community resources, build relationships with southeast Indiana employers and work closely with them to successfully secure job placements for program participants.
